My Institute Experience
Picture of Hisako Yamashita Sugawara
Everything is practical and integrative here at the Monterey Institute. The interactions that I had with other students, the discussions that I had with teachers and students have always given me new insights and perspectives into how we can teach language. Every course, every project, every discussion, and every interaction with the faculty challenged me to go beyond what I had done before. Not only did I expand my repertoire as a language teacher but I also became prepared to contribute to the teaching profession. I wholeheartedly appreciate the great faculty members for their encouragement, support, and resourcefulness. They are my great models.
