Academic Advising

Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) and Teaching a Foreign Language (MATFL) program design a personal study plan according to their academic and professional needs. Students work closely with their faculty adviser to discuss their class schedule and plan for their MA studies.

New students meet with the faculty and their academic adviser during New Student Orientation, prior to registering for classes, in order to receive guidance in the process.

Your study plan will be your road-map into the future, through the curriculum and beyond, into your chosen career. The faculty and staff will help you develop a plan to fit your background, academic and professional objectives.
