The purpose of the diagnostic test is for self assessment and has been designed with the intention to aid students to sign up for the correct level of study, as well as to purchase the correct text book. Although the diagnostic test does not replace the placement exam administered on the first day of classes, the diagnostic will orient students as to their general skill level and aptitude in the target language.
Please note: the results of these tests are solely for the purpose of self-assessment and are not required as a part of the WILP admissions process. Additionally, if your score falls on the cusp of one scoring bracket and another, you may wish to purchase the text book for both levels, as we do not provide the text books here and it will be difficult to participate without the required materials. For more information about the language program you are interested in, including text books, please click on the appropriate language link in Program Descriptions.
