Internship Opportunities

Developing professionals who are the future leaders of the language education field is a top goal of the MATESOL and MATFL program. To accomplish this goal, students must gain both the academic knowledge and professional skills sought out by employers.

As part of the master's program, students are encouraged and invited to participate in various professional opportunities. Below is a list of a few recent internships undertaken by MATESOL and MATFL students in language teaching, teacher training, curriculum development, and language assessment.

The Career Office continuously monitors the global marketplace and utilizes its robust alumni network throughout the world to maintain up-to-date databases of internship opportunities and job openings for students and graduates. The Director of Career Services also works with students individually to develop internship opportunities which meet their career needs and personal interests.
